The Latest News And What Really Happened

POST 1st APRIL 2024 - STOP MAKING EXCUSES, WE'RE HERE WAITING...

We regularly get people messaging us stating that there is no way in contacting us. This follows up from the post from January. They 'message' us saying this!!!

We're confused, you've used our online messaging service to make the point that you can't contact us. Makes no sense. We also had someone use our Live Chat to moan that we have no contact details and that it's not right they can't talk to us.

So again, if you need to reach us (not to discuss outcomes of appeals please) click the 'Contact 24/7' button above or if the Live Chat option is on then hit us up on that. There is no reason why anyone can't contact us.

POST 17th MARCH 2024 - "IT'S IN THE GLOVEBOX!"

Someone wasn't happy with getting a ticket this week. They appealed saying that the permit WAS in the car, we should have known. They then go on to say that the permit was IN the glovebox, we should have known. To be then told that we have done wrong and the ticket shouldn't have been issued is beyond belief.

It's the motorists responsibility to make sure a permit is correctly displayed when exiting the vehicle, just a quick glance back will tell them this.

On all newer permits, post summer 2023, we even state on the permits to visit our website which shows everyone how to display a permit. We try and make it clear and obvious so that no one falls foul.

POST 28th FEBRUARY 2024 - ALL GONE QUIET, IS THAT GOOD?

Not much to report over the last few weeks, it's been rather quiet. The people getting tickets have been very good recently, to the point that they have been nice to deal with. No abuse or threats, makes a change!

POST 24th JANUARY 2024 - WE'RE QUICK TO RESPOND

Our response times for responding to our online contact messaging service messages is now down to 7 hours and 21 minutes. The majority of the messages are responded to same day, except if we get messages after 19.00 as they will roll into the next day.

POST 14th JANUARY 2024 - "WE'RE MESSAGING TO SAY WE CAN'T CONTACT YOU..."

We have an online contact form on this website for anyone who wants to message us, it's the button at the top, 'Contact 24/7'.

Strangely, we've had a couple of people use it recently to moan that they have no way of contacting us, hence why they haven't prior. Surely, if they have used the option to contact us then they have a way to contact us? It doesn't make any sense.

There is no reason why anyone can't use the contact massaging service we have. It's there to assist you to reach out to us.

POST 23rd DECEMBER 2023 - IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS!

We are working, as usual, over the festive period, but the office will be closed more than normal, although we will be popping in and checking emails and messages. If you have a message, then please use our message form by clicking the contact us button above.

Everybody have a good week and please try and not get a parking charge!

POST 19th DECEMBER 2023 -  GOOGLE SAYS WE'RE OPEN. WE WERE NEVER CLOSED!!!

We're back on Google. Now no changes can be made apart from instructed by us.

POST 18th DECEMBER 2023 - GOOGLE SAYS WE'RE CLOSED. WE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL!!!

In relation to our previous post on the 26th November 2023, Google have now suspended our business on Google. WE ARE NOT AT FAULT. Although it says 'permanently closed', we clearly are not and are open as usual. This is Google's way of making our lives difficult. They believe the public more than the company itself when it comes to their own contact details. We are in discussions with Google, albeit slowly as they are hard to contact, to get us up and open again. Google is not the be all and end all of businesses in the UK, although it seems they are acting like it.

POST 26th NOVEMBER 2023 - THEY ARE AT IT AGAIN!

Just to let you know that someone has again told Google that we have a different address and telephone number, which Google have taken as gospel and changed without even contacting us. This has now since been corrected.

POST 13th OCTOBER 2023 - IT'S ALL GONE RATHER QUIET....
For the last few weeks it's all gone rather quiet on the parking front. No silly reviews, no random abuse or stupid comments. We'll enjoy this moment of calm before the Christmas (we've said it) rush kicks in.
POST 4th OCTOBER 2023 - ARE WE THE MOST HELPFUL PARKING COMPANY? WE ACTUALLY CARE? WELL YES

A cool statistic we've worked out. The last three months we have reduced the amount owed on parking charges by 18.8% on the overall amount of tickets issued. That's nearly one in every five tickets have had some generousity or goodwill applied. Not only that, we also have helped motorists pay their parking charges over several instalments, we know times are hard, we're human too. No other parking company does what we do. When we see the reviews using the words 'scum', 'moneygrabbers', 'licence to print money' and 'just in it for the money' then this is simply not true.

POST 23rd SEPTEMBER 2023 - WHO SAID THAT YOU CAN'T CONTACT US???

We constantly get the excuse that no one can contact us which we find remarkable as we have an online contact form and when we're in the office a live chat function. These have been in place for a year now. The past seven days the live chat has been on for 21 hours 43 minutes with a response time of 9 seconds, yes 9 seconds!

Anyone can use the Contact Us button above and leave a message. The response time this week to get back to the individuals was 4 hours. Let's see your Bank or Insurance company get back to you that quick.

We used to advertise our phone number but withdrew it from public view due to the sheer volume of calls we used to get. With that amount of calls, comes a lot of unwanted abuse, which we don't need to hear. Since setting up our other methods of contact, we've been able to get through the contacts much quicker.

POST 4th SEPTEMBER 2023 - BOURNEMOUTH AIRSHOW

It's been a very busy week down here in the South with the Bournemouth Airshow being on. As we all know, hundreds of thousands of people descend into Bournemouth, which means thousands of cars illegally parking where they like. We had the full team out over the weekend, non stop reports of vehicles parked where they shouldn't.

Our favourite was a vehicle which managed to squeeze itself onto a footpath which attaches to a small walkway bridge to the entrance of a block of flats. Somehow managing to drive up two steps in the process!!!

POST 16th AUGUST 2023 - WE'RE HUMAN TOO

Response from a motorist who got themselves into hot water...

"Thank you for taking the time to consider my extrodinary circumstance to why I parked where I did. This isnt the first time I've got a ticket for parking somewhere I shouldnt (and probable not the last) but youre response to my appeal is something I havent experienced before. You actually read my appeal and listen to my reasoning. The call from Max was a nice touch, its sometimes easier to talk than write, especially in my situation. Thanks to Devere, espeically Max for all their understanding and assistance"

POST 2nd AUGUST 2023 - "YOU GOT ANY BAYS FOR RENT?" WE DO NOW!

We get messages every week from members of the public asking if we have any parking in the town centres. The answer was no previously until now. We have now partnered with local agents and Landlords to provide parking spaces. Check out the new section of our website with a list of parking spaces available.

POST 21st JULY 2023 - IT WAS THERE, YOU'RE BLIND!
So a motorist has appealed to us stating that his bright yellow permit (their words) was on the dashboard when we issued a parking charge. He submitted a picture as evidence with a permit slap bang in the middle of the dash.
We must stress, that before appealing, motorists must take a look at their parking charge online and go through all the images we have. If he did this initially then he wouldn't look like a pickle. We had nine perfect images of the dashboard/windscreen, from the front, side and inside angles, none showing a bright yellow permit anywhere within the car.
We responded with something similar to above, ticket was paid fifteen minutes later. Check your parking charges first!
POST 15th JULY 2023 - ABSOLUTE LIES, ONCE AGAIN...
So we have had THREE fake Google reviews today from a motorist that are so untrue that we think they may believe in them. They got a ticket in a car park for not displaying a permit, absolute bang to rights, nothing on display. They appealed saying the permit was there (even though the evidence showed there was no bright yellow permit) and we declined the appeal. They submitted edited emails trying to say that we knew all about their permit that went missing.
Obviously not happy by being caught by the block manager they took their anger out on us who are there to enforce the parking. In go three fake reviews, have a read of them yourself. The lies people write because they haven't calmed down is horrific. Once they realise that they were in the wrong all the time, they may change or remove the review, but probably not.
Funny thing is, they emailed the block manager stating that their permit had gone. This was six weeks before a ticket was issued. The block manager got in touch with us and we said that they should get another permit from us. This person didn't do so, they just ignored the rules that their Freeholder set out for their block. It only took them nine weeks to ask for parking permit, by then it was too late.
This just shows to take any review with a pinch of salt, especially in this industry. No one is happy to receiving a ticket but some are happy with our nice resolutions to them. Be nice, it will get you far!
POST 15th JULY 2023 - SOME SAD PEOPLE OUT THERE
Someone thinks it's funny to keep editing our Google business details by changing our contact details and website.
We note that on a Facebook forum today, someone was moaning that they couldn't call us due to our number being unreachable. Coincidentally, our number was changed on Google just two minutes before this Facebook post. Google alert us when changes have been made. This is just another attempt to try and make us look bad to others reading their post. Luckily there are some nice people actually defending us on the Facebook post and telling them what they did to get a ticket was their fault.
POST 13th JULY 2023 - WE'VE BEEN PRAISED!!!
Mr X called us today on the phone and thanked us for looking after his parking bays whilst he was away in Canada for three months. He arrived back home and was able to park in his allocated bays (he has two). What happened previous was that the other residents knew Mr X went away for extended periods and they took it upon themsleves to utilise his bays. When his daughter wanted to come round to check the property she was unable to do so.
It's nice to hear this!
